Shri G. N. Suresh, founding Secretary and chairman of St. Philomena’s group of Institutions started pioneering to nurture quality of education in the locality of Attibele in the time when hardly any had thought of it. School was started in the year 1996 at Sharabanna bungalow with few students. With his arduous work, the seed which he had sown almost three decades back has grown into a big tree today under whose shade future of many students has been brightened. We proudly share with you that today institute is educating more than 2000+ wards with the cooperation of parents and well wishers.

St. Philomena’s institutions leading in field of education with State board school ICSE board schools along with P.U. (Science& Commerce) College. Institution has marked many milestones in the history of education field by giving State 1st Rank in S.S.L.C Examination 2018-19. School has stood First in Taluk level for many consecutive years in both State and ICSE Examinations. Outstanding performances in sports, scholastic and co-scholastic competitions are also notably awarded by department of education.
